Coming up in this special Community Group Takeover of our airwaves, we’re chatting with Solomiia Horbasto, co-president of the Queen’s University Ukrainian Student’s Association (QUUSA) . Did you know that Canada has one of the largest Ukrainian diasporas in the world? At Queen’s University, QUUSA hopes to unite just one small part of it. Their goal is to bring together Ukrainian students and encourage them to engage in Ukrainian culture, language, traditions and build connections to their heritage at Queen’s. They also hope to educate the school community about their roots, and show QUUSA’s pride Kingston-wide!
